Rachel Moor, MD

Rachel Moor, MD was born in Kettering, Ohio and grew up in Sarasota, FL. She completed her undergraduate and medical education at the University of Florida as a part of the Medical Honors Program, a seven year combined BS-MD track. During her time as an undergraduate and medical student, Dr. Moor completed research projects in the Department of Neurosurgery relating to glioblastoma, laser interstitial thermal therapy, platelet assessment in endovascular patients, and quality metrics. Dr. Moor has an interest in medical education, and she worked as a student assistant in medical school, lecturing and serving as an individual tutor in multiple subjects. She was elected from the top 15% of her class to Alpha Omega Alpha as a junior, and graduated from medical school with both academic and research honors. In her free time, Dr. Moor enjoys cooking, dancing, and being outdoors. She and her husband, Jordan, love spending time with their two fur-babies, a dog named Filet Mignon and a cat named Hippocrates.
